How Coaching is a catalyst for change

By asking the right questions, coaching facilitates changes that the client had never thought about before; it wasn’t because they didn’t have the answers, it was just they hadn’t been in the conscious brain before that moment.


With the realisation that they have the answer, a client can then plan how to get to it, ie the journey.  This is goal setting, and with the support of the coach a client sets achievable goals to work towards a final goal in a set time scale.   With check points along the way, the client can see how and when the changes occur and takes ownership of them, thus the coach is just a catalyst to enable their client to make the changes they want.
